D4R have been working with Costcutter since 2012 on evolving a new retail identity and refreshed retail branding for the Costcutter brand.

This new Premium store on Campbell Street, Bolton showcases the latest retail execution of the Costcutter brand. A bright façade with the use of timber cladding and large scale graphics draws attention along with the high contrasting black and lime green logo and text.

In store, varied floor finishes in a subtle colour palette creates and interest and shows a well-considered layout. A range of textures and warm materials creates an innovative and premium approach to convenience retail design. The retail environment looks clean and fresh, feeling inviting for the consumer, communicating the fresh and local brand values perfectly.

D4R have introduced a friendly tone of voice to the in store communication to add a personal touch creating a more enriching retail experience for the customer. Blackboard style price points give a reference to a traditional marketplace and allow each individual shop to have its own identity. Using a range of large sized graphics throughout the shop with delicious images tempt customers to purchase on their shopping trip!

Using the brand’s core colour ways, red, black and lime green, the space evokes the brand and the colours create an impactful and modern space. There is even a Costa Coffee vending machine making a great addition to this premium Costcutter!
